The SEICA Applications Team has many years of experience developing complete test programs for the end user of Seica test systems, and, when required, also designs and builds the relative fixtures and adaptors.
The fixture drill data is extracted automatically for the board CAD data using one of the many CAD Converters in the Seica library, as is the information required for the automatic generation of the Test Program. If the board CAD data is not available, there are a number of software and hardware tools built into our flying probe systems which enable the visual acquisition of the board and the guided entry of the necessary information.
Application Programs are delivered as a 'turnkey' solution including any fixtures and special hardware needed, in addition to the fully debugged test program. The installation of the application can be carried out by Seica technicians or directly by the customer with realtime phone support or remote connection. Alternatively, the customer can order only a fixture or a test program, according to his needs.
Fixtures can be equipped with a wide selection of additional tools, such as automatic stamps to mark tested boards, mechanical actuators to rotate trimmers or switches, hit keys or test connectors, etc., and even cameras to perform a functional/visual test of displays mounted on the UUT (Unit Under Test).
Test programs and fixtures are developed according to the test requirement and system configuration: analog and digital in-circuit, functional and combinational, pneumatic or vacuum fixtures. Third party standard fixtures such as Virginia Panel may also be used and some models of Seica’s standard receivers can also manage fixtures from other ATE manufacturers.
