The Omron RNS “ReNaiSsance” line is including “in-line” and “benchtop” units and utilizes the same inspection logic.
All the Omron machines use the proven Omron patented 3 color highlight system (RGB): this is the core of the Omron technology, since from the first machines in the late 1990.
The software of the VT-RNS line can manage the 3 processes in the production line: post paste printing, post placement, post re-flow inspections. Using the same software interface, the machine can be easily reconfigured from one process to the other, offering the best flexibility.
Both “post-reflow” and “post-wave” processes can be inspected.
10, 15 or 20 microns: 3 magnifications are available, depending from the technology to be inspected. The magnification is fixed, but can be changed in the field by qualified service personnel.

Peripheral software (CTS, Concurrent Teaching System) allow to created and debug completely the programs off-line and during production: images from production are stored and used for fine-tuning.
The Repair Station (RVS-B) is used in production to easily locate the errors and repair.
The LSR software (Line Status Reporter) collects production data for further analysis.

Simplified mechanics and auto calibration are the base for the already proven reliability and low maintenance.

Two sizes are available: 'M' size, with inspection area 250mm x 333mm or “L” size, that will accept PCB of 460mm x 510mm.
