SEICA announces further expansion in China

16 July 2016, SEICA’s Chinese subsidiary, Seica Electronics (Suzhou), has doubled the size of their technical support team in the first half of 2016, and is looking to continue the trend in the near term. The Seica support team provide 24/7 technical support to the installed base in China, and is able to supply test application programs and fixtures directly from our Chinese offices.

Altest acquires Seica Flying Probe Test Systems

27 June 2016, Zero Defects International, regional sales representative for Seica USA, has announced the sale and installation of a Seica V8 double-sided flying-probe PCBA tester at Altest, Inc. In the same transaction Altest also purchased a Pilot flying-probe tester for additional test applications for their customers. Based in San Jose, Altest conducted a rigorous and comprehensive review and benchmark of all available systems prior to selecting Seica. Performance, user interface, and local service and support were among the criteria employed. Seica scored well in all categories.

GOEPEL electronic integrates boundary scan in SEICA flying probe testers

4 May 2016, The Flying Probe Testers (FPT) in the Pilot 4D line from SEICA are now available with a boundary scan option from GOEPEL electronic. The two test procedures together provide a cost-effective and time-efficient platform for testing electrical assemblies in production.
