The PILOT series is designed to provide maximum flexibility, test coverage, and efficiency in electronic testing. With cutting-edge features, it ensures precise diagnostics, reduced test time, and enhanced reliability.
LED TEST – This option allows the system to power on the LEDs on the Unit Under Test (UUT) and analyze various parameters such as luminosity, color, saturation, and frequency spectrum. It supports different LED testing tools:
-LED sensors: Compact and equipped with interchangeable lenses for adaptable testing.
-LED spectrometer: Features a larger lens for in-depth spectral analysis.
THERMAL SCAN – Ensures real-time monitoring of operating temperatures across circuits and components. It compares results with a predefined reference board profile, detecting abnormal heating that could indicate defects or early failures.
FLYPOD – A game-changing solution for JTAG and On-Board Programming (OBP), allowing a single probe to manage up to 14 channels with no fixed external wiring. Advantages include:

FLYSCAN – Integrates Boundary Scan testing directly into the flying probe process. Tests are automatically generated within SEICA’s VIVA software, reducing programming time while increasing fault detection. The Extended Test function even enables JTAG-like testing of non-JTAG nets, further boosting test coverage.
FLYSTRAIN – A real-time mechanical stress detection tool available exclusively on the PILOT VX . It provides:
-Real-time force measurement as soon as electrical contact stabilizes
-Continuous monitoring of probe contact
-A color-coded stress map highlighting pressure distribution, from low (blue) to high (red)
