OPERA is Seica’s new generation of test solutions for the increasing complexity of modern electronics manufacturing.
OPERA stands for “Open Era", embodying Seica’s philosophy of openness, flexibility, customization, and innovation. Building on the open architecture introduced with the VIP™ platform in 1992, OPERA combines a hardware and software foundation with modular solutions to create scalable test systems.
Supporting the entire product lifecycle, from prototyping and new product introduction to mass production, repair, and maintenance, OPERA can be configured for in-circuit, functional, boundary scan, LED, capacitive testing, and on-board programming. Its open architecture also enables the integration of external instrumentation and third-party software.
The OPERA Series includes Seica’s complete portfolio of test solutions for electronic boards and modules, from standard applications to EV electronics, batteries, probe cards, and power components.
Flying Probe
Backed by more than 30 years of Flying Probe expertise, Seica’s Rapidand Pilotsystems deliver high performance and flexibility across all manufacturing environments, supporting applications from embedded-component technologies to densely populated, highly complex boards requiring multiple test techniques.
In-Circuit & Functional Test
Compact and Valid are fully integrated into the OPERA architecture, providing scalable solutions for standalone and automated production.
Developed according to lean manufacturing principles, the Compact line combines high configurability, a compact footprint, and low power consumption for high-throughput production.
The Valid line delivers high-performance in-circuit and functional testing using bed-of-nails or fixed receiver configurations. The latest VALID LR and VALID SL systems feature cableless architecture, 128-channel scanner cards, and support a complete range of test methods.
VALID SL is designed for fully automated, high-volume production with configurations exceeding 4,400 channels.
VALID LR enables seamless migration from legacy systems while supporting advanced test development, with a flexible multi-resource architecture supporting up to 5,888 channels.
Powered by VIVA™
The latest release of Seica’s VIVA™ software platform provides a common environment for test development, validation, optimization, traceability, MES integration, and repair management.
Integrated auto-debug, statistical analysis, customizable reports and operator interfaces, together with support for Python, Excel, C, C++, C#, and TestStand, enable connected, data-driven manufacturing.
